6 years Job Specification...PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Ensure effective business relationships are maintained within the department for effective delivery of service to our customers and service providers 2. Ensure reserves correctly set and constantly reviewed to reflect the correct position of the company’s liability at any given time 3. Ensure that customers are advised promptly and regularly reminded on documents necessary to facilitate settlement of claim 4. Assist the claims manager in monitoring the performance of service providers for effective delivery of service 5. Assist the claims manager in monitoring and controlling the internal costs to ensure that they are within the budget 6. Identify gaps in the policy terms revealed during the claims processing and raise them with the underwriting department to assist in understanding our risks 7. Ensure that the registry is maintained in the efficient manner to facilitate easy filing and retrieval of records 8. Ensure effective follow up and conclusion of recoveries from third parties in order to reduced final cost of claim within the department 9.Supervise, train, mentor and coach staff within the department to ensure they remain motivate
